Welcoming guests for over a hundred years - My great grandparents who lived on Talland Hill in Polperro would welcome guests to stay in their family home for Bed and Board back in the 1800’s. Most were artists, who would book to lodge with them to come and capture on canvas the colours and way of life in the village. My Great Granfer Curtis had the fishing lugger, Lady Beatrice, fishing out of Polperro, my Great Gran looked after the guests and raised their 4 children.
